Unite Against Book Bans Tag

When planning the very first Picture Book Summit over 11 years ago, we knew we wanted to be able to pay it forward by giving a portion of the proceeds from the event to support charities that focus on literacy and getting books into the hands of kids.

Over the last 11 years we’ve been honored to work with and donate over $57,000 to:

• We Need Diverse Books
• Two Title I Schools in Oregon and Connecticut
• Reading Partners
• San Juan Public Library in Puerto Rico (2-time recipient!)
• Project Night Night
• Binc – The Book Industry Charitable Foundation
• Little Free Library’s Read in Color Program
• Reading Education Assistance Dog (R.E.A.D.)
• Reach Out and Read
